Hear Tash Sultana’s Saxy New Single ‘Mystik’

Tash Sultana just served us with a brand new dose of choonage dubbed ‘Mystik’.

The reverby chiller takes a jazzy U-turn around three-minutes in, veering into an up-tempo funk-guitar outro that features your homegirl showing off her saxophone skillz for the very first time.

Sultana reckons the song was written about the “death of her ego”.

“[I] tried to just come back down and connect to myself and just be present, because when you’re busy all the time you kind of get caught up in this whole mist and you forget to stop and be still and you get carried away thinking that you have to do all these things all the time when you probably just should be instead of do,” she told triple j.

The fresh tune’s arrival comes hot on the heels of Tash announcing plans to take a “small hiatus” following her imminent Aussie homecoming tour, which ICYMI kicks off in mid-November.
