UK electro trio Years & Years have just released their first single in over a year.
The track, titled Meteorite, was written specifically for the brand new Bridgette Jones film, Bridgette Jones’ Baby, and follows a string of great successes for the London-based lads.
Meteorite (below) is a fun-driven dance-inducing pop hit, described by front-man Olly Alexander as “unashamedly disco and upbeat”.
The song was debuted on stage at England’s Bestival event over the weekend, and no, the Years & Years boys intend to get busy working on a whole new album.
Years & Years recently headlined London’s Wembley Stadium, played Splendour In the Grass for the second year running on our home soil, and have also had two singles go platinum and gold in Australia.
