I say, old sport! It doth appear as if we’ll not be having to wait an inordinate amount of time for the 2017 Let Them Eat Cake lineup to arriveth, so that we may proceed with our New Years Day strategems to get indubitably shitfaced!

Yep, September’s shaping up to be another festival lineup-packed month, with Victoria’s poshest bush doof Let Them Eat Cake set to serve up its 2017 lineup next bloody week.

The first round of artist announcements for next year’s dance extravaganza will be announced on Tuesday, 13th September, which also happens to be the same day that tickets officially go on sale.

Now in its fifth year, Cake will once again return to the mansion lawns’ of Werribee Park (just 30 minutes outside of Melbourne) on January 1st, which this time around will be made even more delicious due to the fact that it falls on a Sunday.

In case you need a refresher on what the festival is all about, here’s the lowdown from the official Facebook event page:

Cake is about uncompromising attention to detail, a stellar lineup of both international and local talent and an eclectic smorgasbord of food and art.

The festival’s 2016 lineup featured a smorgasbord of the world’s finest DJs and producers, including Germany’s house/techno wizard Âme, the UK’s Ben UFO, Daniel Avery, Four Tet and Jon Hopkins, Italy’s DJ Tennis and America’s Machinedrum and Com Truise, which is going to be hard to top.
