Holy Shit You Guys Blink-182 Are Releasing Their Brand New Single This Week!

Blink-182 are releasing a new song this week and we are most definitely Feeling This.

Dubbed Bored To Death, the new slice of punk/emo/TBC represents the band’s first tune in four years and also their first one with Matt “Alkaline Trio” Skiba in place of Tom DeLonge.

It’s set to premiere on LA radio station KROQ this Thursday, US time, with the Mark, Matt & Travis Show also tipped to reveal more juicy deets about their forthcoming new album.

After being one of the few lucky ducks to preview the disc, KROQ’s Music Director Lisa Worden said: “I think any fan of Blink-182 is going to be ecstatic when they hear the music. I really do!”

“It sounds like Blink-182 but it sounds like Blink in 2016. Lyrically it’s clever.”

Worden also added that – out of the songs she’s heard – it’s primarily Mark Hoppus on vocals with Skiba adding harmonies.

“As a fan of the band for the last 20 years, I was so happy with what I heard. It was the band I’ve loved all these years,” she said.

Meanwhile, Blink have also been teasing what we’re assuming is the song’s cover art via their official Instagram, with three panels thus far together creating the following image:

Safe to assume that old love has got the driver Bored To Death?

The song’s release comes after Blink spent months whetting fans’ whistles for their new shiz with a bunch of studio videos from inside the Dude Ranch, which earlier this year prompted one mad fan to take matters into his own hands by fusing the isolated instrumental and vocal recordings together to create what could be part of a brand new Blink song.

Check it out below and see how it measures up when Bored To Death finally drops this week.
