With the Moonee Valley Racing Club’s William Hill Cox Plate Day celebrations approaching fast this October, organisers have unveiled the music lineup for their premier marquee area, the Pure Pleasure Enclosure, with Hot Dub Time Machine and Mashd N Kutcher set to bring the party.
A festival headline favourite who has taken over every festival main stage from Splendour In The Grass to Stereosonic with his chronological mix of hits, Hot Dub Time Machine was a no brainer for the Pure Pleasure Enclosure stage. Delivering his trademark high energy and light and confetti-filled set with the energy of a man possessed, you can bet that he’ll be cranking up the heat and pumping out the jams something fierce come October.
With an act like that headlining, organisers had to find someone pretty special to support, and Australia’s premiere DJ duo Mashd N Kutcher fit the bill perfectly. All conquering party monsters with a worldwide following, these two dance kings will be fully in the swing in the Pure Pleasure Enclosure, serving up a high octane mix of dance music to keep the crowd jumping.
And a good thing too, because located in the centre of the racecourse directly behind the winning post, the Pure Pleasure Enclosure will be jam-packed with punters looking to get loose. Touted as the hottest ticket on the Spring Carnival, and set to be fully decked out with some grazing food stations and ticket holders getting a top notch drinks package, with a music lineup like this, you can bet the party will be jumping all day long.
With only 100 days left to go until this gem of the racing calendar arrives, early bird packages are flying fast. Going at $245 a pop and available until September 1st (or allocation is exhausted) you can book tickets here or get more information from the Facebook event.
In the meantime check out this snazzy lil trailer they put together to celebrate the boys jumping on the bill, with full event details below.
