Hunting Grounds Announce Final Shows

Ballarat sons Hunting Grounds, formerly known as Howl, announced yesterday that after nearly 10 years together they are calling it quits, but before they go their separate ways the boys will play a handful of final shows this November and December.

Hunting Grounds will play three Victorian shows in their farewell to fans, two in support of Yacht Club DJs, who are also on their own farewell tour, in Geelong and Melbourne and one final show in their hometown of Ballarat on Friday December 5th.

Hunting Grounds first hit the scene when they won triple j’s 2009 Unearthed High competition as Howl, and have since gone through a name change, releasing two EPs and their debut 2012 album, In Hindsight.

“After almost 10 years of us playing together, two EP’s, one album, hundreds of shows and countless great times we have decided that this year will be the last year of Hunting Grounds,” wrote the band in a statement on Facebook.

“Now let all go out for some frosty chocolate milkshakes.” See the band’s final tour dates below.
