Iggy Azalea Fires Back At “Old Man” Eminem’s Rape Lyric

Fresh from spitting out lyrics about punching Lana Del Rey in the face, Eminem can be heard on a leaked preview of Vegas, a song believed to be on his upcoming album, rapping about wanting to rape Iggy Azalea, who has already responded to the lyrics on Twitter.

In the lyrics featured in the one minute preview, below, Eminem raps about getting Azalea into a car and telling her to put away her “rape whistle”. See the entire verse transcribed below:

“Bitch, shut the fuck up and get in my car / And suck my fucking dick while I take a shit / And I think with my dick so come blow my mind / And it tastes like humble pie / So swallow my pride, you’re lucky just to follow my ride/ If I let you run alongside the Humvee/ Unless you’re Nicki, grab you by the wrist, let’s ski/ So what’s it gon’ be/ Put that shit away, Iggy/ You don’t wanna blow that rape whistle on me. Scream! I love it / ‘Fore I get lost with the gettin’ off.”

Azalea has since fired back on Twitter, saying she is “bored” by Eminem’s antics. “Im bored of the old men threatening young women as entertainment trend and much more interested in the young women getting $ trend,” she wrote.

“Its especially akward (sic) because my 14 year old brother is the biggest eminem fan and now the artist he admired says he wants to rape me. nice!,” she added. “Women in music have the bigger balls anyhow we endure much more harassment and critic.”

The Vegas preview follows last week’s release of the SHADY CXVPHER, a 17-minute-long freestyle in support of his upcoming Shady Records compilation Shady XV. On the controversial cypher, Eminem raps about punching Lana Del Rey in the face, and lets fly at openly gay TV anchor Anderson Cooper, American journalist Gloria Steinem and NASCAR racer Tony Stewart.

Eminem has long faced criticism for his misogynistic and aggressive lyrics, and has taken shots at multiple female celebrities like Amy Winehouse, Britney Spears and Kim Kardashian in his songs in the past.

The track is expected to appear on the Shady XV album, a two-disc compilation celebrating the 15-year anniversary of Shady Records, Eminem’s powerhouse label. The album will include an all-star track, Detroit vs Everybody, that features Royce Da 5’9″, Big Sean, Danny Brown, Dej Loaf and Trick Trick.

According to Eminem’s official website, Shady XV is slated for release Monday, 24th November. See the Vegas snippet and Azalea’s response below.
