A busker has been captured on film performing a spine-tinglingly brilliant rendition of the Game of Thrones theme music at Sydney’s Town Hall station.
The muso; who goes by the name of Vasiliy Shapkin, is a talented violinist who is often seen collaborating with his brother Vladimir. But on this occasion, he’s flying solo with just a little help from a simple backing track.
In a performance that would have pleased King Joffrey himself (whilst he was alive, of course), the dramatic performance caught the attention of lots of commuters bustling through the station.
By the looks of his jangly, coin filled violin case, his efforts didn’t go unappreciated. Except for that one guy at 1:20 who contributed to the case but then also tried to take his own change.
