In Hearts Wake Announce ‘Divination’ Album Launch Tour

Written by Mike Hohnen on September 24, 2012

Byron Bay lads In Hearts Wake obviously don’t know the meaning behind downtime. Straight off the back of supporting tours with UK hooligans Enter Shikari and home-grown heroes House Vs. Hurricane, In Hearts Wake have now unveiled a series of headlining gigs in support of their debut full-length.

Divination marks the band’s first studio album effort and it appears they’ve gotten the hand of things rather quickly, with the debut LP smashing all expectations and landing at #27 on the ARIA charts – literally as the band continued to turn heads throughout their live shows around the country. Recorded in the USA, Divination is a very professional release, masterfully woven together by Josh Schroeder (Legend, A Plea For Purging, For Today, The Color Morale, Still Remains)

The release sees the band further hone in on their metalcore/hardcore vibe, exploring the sonic universe to its borders then expanding it even further. They are bringing with them some of the biggest names in local talent, Sienna Skies and mosh gods Shinto Katana, and in opening slot will be rising stars Hallowers.
