Infamous Twitter User Kanye West Has Finally Started An Instagram

Kanye West has joined Instagram, if we’re to believe a verified account that’s come to the internet’s attention today.

An blue-tick Kanye West account has appeared and while he hasn’t posted anything just yet, it’s followed by his manager Scooter Braun which all but confirms it’s real.

Kanye has long toyed with the idea of starting an Instagram account and finding another outlet for his infamous social media activity which has long been confined to Twitter.

Earlier this year he told his Twitter followers that he was considering starting an Instagram but only on one condition.

“No one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram… It’s my art,” he wrote.

Given that he’s used his Twitter to tell everyone that Bill Cosby is innocent and to declare his tweets as “contemporary art,” there’s really no end to the possibilities of what could end up on his Insty.

There is just one problem. Earlier this week Yeezy tweeted that, “I got rid of my phone so I can have air to create.” Currently, Instagram does not have a desktop platform that supports uploading photos, confining users to their phones which is going to make it mighty hard for Kanye to post photos.

Welcome to Instagram Kanye. We promise to let it be your “art”.
