Interpol ‘Turn On The Bright Lights’ Gets 10th Anniversary Reissue

Interpol will be releasing a deluxe reissue if their seminal breakthrough album Turn on the Bright Lights, for release this November. The album has been fully remastered, and is included in a hardbound book with unreleased photos (48 pages in the CD, 28 large pages in the vinyl) and a second disc of bonus tracks, many unreleased, plus demos and B-sides, and a DVD.

The album will be available as a double CD+DVD, double LP+DVD, and digital album with digital booklet. Pre-orders will come with a replica of the band’s first item of merchandise: a button with the original Interpol logo – perfect for any fan of the NYC indie legends, who have been on an indefinite hiatus since their last self-titled album in 2010.

However, frontman Paul Banks will be releasing new material this October, for the first time under his real name, having previously used the moniker Julian Plenti. His new album Banks already has a certain Interpolishness to it, and might just tide fans over until the band decide to get back together for a fifth album.
