Now in its third year, pacific island party fest Your Paradise is back, once again taking over the islands of Malolo Lailai in Fiji this December.
Following on from the festival’s growing popularity over the past few years, this year’s line-up is bigger and better than ever with with the likes of local legend What So Not and Major Lazer co-founder Switch on the bill as well as many others. Carefully curated by organisers, the lineup for local and international producers promise to deliver an experience worthy of the festival’s paradisiacal setting.
Other names on the bill worth mentioning are: Aussie producer Slumberjack, Justin Martin, Anna Lunoe, L D R U and ever former pro surfing rivals Leigh Sadley and Paul Fisher playing as Cut Snake. It’s not just music on offer here though, with organisers making sure there a plenty of other activities to keep punters occupied as the line between kids club and dance club continues to blur.
Offering festival goers eager for adventure the chance to snorkel, surf, jet ski, sky dive and explore the islands, not to mention a range of authentic Fijian cultural activities such as island BBQs, fire dancer performances and the ceremonial preparation of the Kava root, to say there is a lot to keep you busy is an understatement.
If keeping busy is what you were hoping to avoid by shelling out for a tropical island festival though, never fear, as between the majestic Fiji One catamaran, vanishing sand banks and the idyllic beaches, there will be plenty of time to sit back, soak up some rays and relax if that is more your deal.
As you might imagine though, tickets to such a luxurious debauch aren’t exactly on the cheap side, with tickets going at $1,999 per person for Individuals with shared accommodation and $2,099 per person for Groups of 4 or 6 with deluxe bure (a wood and straw hut) with Studio Bure tickets for couples already sold out.
Being the reasonable legends that they are though organisers are letting punters reserve tickets with a $99 deposit now.
