Jack Black Joined Foo Fighters On Stage For A Thrashing ‘Tom Sawyer’ Cover

From Tenacious D‘s Tribute to Foo Fighters Low film clip, the Foos and Jack Black have a long history of excellence and they’ve continued that live on stage during the band’s most recent tour.

Jack Black joined Dave Grohl and co. on stage during a show in Los Angeles for a thrashing cover of Rush’s Tom Sawyer with some added theatric,s courtesy of the comedian.

Fan video shows Black leaping into the air during the verses with hearty vigour before jumping from the stage and into the audience where he spent the rest of the song. In fact, we’re not even quite sure if he made it out of there.

“I feel like he was re-enacting my stage accident by jumping off the end of the stage,” Grohl said as the song finished, sitting on his rock throne nursing a broken leg.

During the same show Stevie Nicks and HAIM also hopped on stage to play Fleetwood Mac’s Gold Dust Woman so basically if you weren’t there you missed out on the greatest show of all time.
