Jay-Z’s New Album To Feature Frank Ocean, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Pharrell And More

Jay-Z‘s Magna Carta Holy Grail is almost with us and the details about the twelfth solo studio album from the rap giant are coming thick and fast, with a list of collaborators including Beyoncé, Nas, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz and Frank Ocean being revealed, along with some album lyrics.

The 99 Problems performer will be dueting with his wife Beyonce on Part II (On the Run), which seems to be a follow-up to their track 03 Bonnie & Clyde, while Justin Timberlake will guest on Holy Grail and Frank Ocean will lend his vocal talents to the aptly named Oceans. And BBC is set to be a monster track, with the roll call of guests looking a little like this: Beyoncé, Nas, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz. Wowzers.

And if Courtney Love is a reputable source, we should be hearing Jay-Z’s take on Nirvana‘s Smells Like Teen Spirit, with Kurt Cobain‘s widow saying she gave the rapper permission to use the lyrics despite the fact it would make daughter Frances Bean “freak”.

Magna Carta Holy Grail is out 8th July.
