The long-awaited new Jimmy Eat World album has now been given an arrival date. As per the band’s Twitter, it’s looking as though it could be as soon as early next year.
The news came through in the form of a tweet. In response to a fan’s inquiry on an ETA, the band responded with, “Hopefully first half of next year. We’ll keep you posted”.
Details on the release are fairly scarce at this point in time: no official name or anything like that has been announced. We do know that the album is recorded, after the band announced again via Twitter that they were now waiting on mixing. The boys entered the studio with legendary Alain Johannes.
The incoming album will be the follow-up to 2010’s Invented, which was released through Interscope.
