An unreleased Michael Jackson track has been updated to feature Justin Bieber‘s vocals. The posthumous collaboration between Jacko and the teen idol is titled Slave 2 The Rhythm and can be streamed for free on SoundCloud.
The King of Pop recorded the track before his untimely death in 2009. The song was recently revamped with a harder dubstep edge and mixed in with Biebs’ vocals, who now receives a “featuring” credit on the song. Bieber took to Twitter to pay a tribute to Jackson ahead of the track’s online release, saying:
“Excited for what is to come. MJ set the bar. Not only for music but for being an entertainer and how u treat the fans. Wish he was here…”
Music Feeds recently reported that the Canadian pop star has shown interest in buying Jackson’s former Californian dream home, the Neverland ranch. Bieber is purported to be a big fan of MJ, having previously stated “I’ve been watching videos of his concert tours over and over, he’s my inspiration”.
