Kid Cudi Leaves Kanye’s G.O.O.D Music, But “It’s All Love”

Written by Mike Hohnen on April 3, 2013

One of the more accomplished members of Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music record label has announced that he will be parting ways with the project. Kid Cudi, famous for being…well…Kid Cudi, has revealed that he will be doing his own thing from now on, but is quick to denounce any beef.

Speaking with LA’s Power 106 (Via The 405) Cudi explained, “Me and Kanye were actually talking on the phone the other day…about me wanting to start my own direction, and he got it because he’s trying to start his own new path, and trying new things as an artist. And he was just like ‘Man, I feel you. It’s cool’. This is just from a business standpoint. There’s no beef with anyone on the label. It’s all love.”

Unless there’s something seriously wrong with you, you’ll be aware that the near future holds a brand new album from Cudi. Indicud has been on many of our wish lists for some time now. Don’t be mistaken, 2010’s Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager still has replay value, but it’s time for some new tunage.
