Kings Of Leon Go Tropical On New Track ‘Around The World’

We’re edging closer to the release of Kings Of Leon‘s new album Walls and they’ve given us another track from it Around The World.

Around The World once again sees the Nashville band give us something different sonically, delivering tropical rock flavours on this one. It’s one of the most sunny cuts we’ve ever heard from the band, coming at the end of the US summer.

It’s the third single to come from the record following the anthemic Waste A Moment and the electronic title track.

Walls was recorded with Arcade Fire producer Markus Dravs who apparently pushed the band into new territory.

He told them exactly what he liked and didn’t like and challenged them to make their most diverse set of songs.

“One song would sound almost electronic and another would sound so broken-down,” bassist Matthew Followill told Billboard of woking with Dravs.

“But the way it all flowed together, we were just like, ‘This guy is a genius.'”

Walls is out 14th October.
