Many Aussie fans of Southern rock four-piece Kings Of Leon were disappointed to learn that their recently launched Australian trip would see them playing just two Sydney shows but, ever the crowd-pleasers, the band have now confirmed that they will be back for a full-fledged tour, most likely in 2014.
“On this record cycle we’ll be back, I think we’ll be back next year at some point,” frontman Caleb Followill told Triple J‘s Veronica And Lewis. “If we come all this way we’re definitely gonna bring our families and have fun,” adding, “Brisbane, Perth, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Adelaide. The whole deal.”
The Followill boys were initially set to play just one show at Sydney Harbour – a show that had to be rescheduled until today due to extreme weather conditions – before announcing just one special headlining show at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre while they tour sixth album, Mechanical Bull.
