KISS & Mötley Crüe Co-headlining Australian Tour Confirmed, January 2013

Written by Mike Hohnen on September 24, 2012

If you can remember back to January of this year, Music Feeds reported that KISS management had confirmed that the band would be making their return Down Under early in 2013. Well, now my friends we have confirmation.

Update 14/11/2012: KISS and Motley Crue Australian tour dates announced

Mötley Crüe sticks man Tommy Lee has potentially let slip news of a co-headlining tour via his Facebook page, commenting that the band will be taking “a little break til Jan 2013 then off to Australia with Kiss n Motley.” Lee also explains that the band has “Been goin like fuck since Feb in Vegas” where they have been gigging for the past 9 months.

While no dates or venues have been locked in, you can bet it’s going to be a huge run of the biggest stages that we have. KISS were last in town back in 2008 where they played some insanely wild stadium shows. Together, the powerhouses of glam rock, leather, spandex and absolute debauchery have played around 40 shows. Travelling the northern hemisphere for a run of dates known simply as ‘The Tour’, the band will now 100% be bringing the madness Down Under.

I want it to be 2013 already, am I right? Stay tuned for more deets on The Tour, Australia.
