Korn ‘Follow The Leader’ 20th Anniversary Australian Tour Teased?

Speculation is rife that Korn may be preparing to add an Australian leg to their 20th anniversary tour for classic album Follow The Leader, after an Australian touring company posted about the album on social media.

Earlier this year, Korn promised Music Feeds that they would return to Australia for a full tour after headlining the first-ever Australian edition of Download Festival in March, and now local touring group Metropolis Touring has added fuel to the fire.

Taking to Instagram, the company has shared the artwork from Follow The Leader‘s second single ‘Got The Life’, along with the caption, “Got the life… #korn,” sending fans into a frenzy.

While the post could just be an innocent look back at the song for the 20th birthday of Follow The Leader, it’s odd timing given the band recently announced a handful of North American shows for September, where they will play the 1998 album in full.

Music Feeds has contacted Metropolis Touring for comment.

Speaking with Music Feeds ahead of Download Festival Melbourne, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis said the band would be “back to do a proper tour of Australia as soon as Korn is done making the next record”.

Korn released their latest album The Serenity of Suffering in 2016, and last toured Australia extensively during Soundwave Festival in 2014.
