The 2013 Laneway Festival is giving punters the chance to check out some of the best upcoming talent through the Future Classic stage.
Since forming eight years ago, the Sydney-based label has built up a rep for excellent taste via their regular online DJ mixes, weekly radio show on FBi and Adult Disco parties, as well as touring international acts Little Dragon, Mount Kimbie, Holy Ghost!, The Whitest Boy Alive, Sebastien Tellier and more.
They’ve released music on their record label for artists, including New Navy, Panama and Mitzi, and most recently, Flume, whose self-titled debut entered at #2 on the ARIA Album Chart last week.
Future Classic is now joining forces with Laneway Festival for 2013 to present the Future Classic stage. The partnership is set to deliver an array of boundary-pushing local and international electronica that you’ll be loving in 12 months’ time.
And to celebrate the partnership, Future Classic have put together a Laneway-themed mixtape, which you can download for free here.
