Vance Joy
We think it’s important to support local artists, though singer songwriter Vance Joy is fast outgrowing that tag. Not to say that you shouldn’t check him out at Laneway – if anything, this cat needs to get as many eyes and ears on him as possible to propel him to the next level. It didn’t take long for the US to catch onto Joy’s folkish vibe either after he wooed them at this year’s SXSW. When his EP God Loves You When Your Dancing dropped March of this year, he came in to Music Feeds Studio to give us a taste with Riptide.
