Liam Gallagher Reveals There’s Only One Thing Stopping An Oasis Reunion

Liam Gallagher is currently promoting the Oasis documentary Supersonic and he’s understandably been barraged with questions about when Oasis are going to reform.

While there are no plans to reform Oasis at this stage he has revealed the only reason that they’re not getting back together – his brother Noel Gallagher.

Earlier this year Noel said that, “Liam he tends to make the easiest things really difficult,” and he would be open to playing shows with just Oasis songs but now it sounds like Noel is the one making things difficult.

Liam has all but admitted that he’s ready to reform Oasis but says that Noel, “wants to be in a solo band.”

“Our kid’s going around like I’ve stabbed his fucking cat,” he told Radio X (via NME), with the kid being Noel.

“If people think me having a dig on Twitter is what’s stopping the band getting back together, they’re mad.”

“If they want the band to get back together they’ll have to ask our kid. It’s down to our kid,” he further said.

Even though Liam is currently working on his first solo album he’s admitted that, “there’s nothing better than being in a fucking band.”

Following Oasis’ split, he released two records with the band Beady Eye, however, he revealed back in 2014 that they are finished.

“You can do your solo records, you can be wherever you want, but when you’re in a band and you’re playing your music to four, three geezers playing back to you, there’s no better feeling,” he said.

“I don’t give a fuck what anyone says. There’s nothing better than being in a fucking band.”
