Lianne La Hava Announces Sydney Festival 2013 Sideshows

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s full lineup announcement for Sydney Festival 2013 comes the announcement that London’s Lianne La Havas will be headlining a brief run of shows around the East Coast.

Turning heads all over the world with her virtuous abilities on the acoustic guitar, the eclectic songstress meanders effortlessly through both her neo-soul and folk-pop sensibilities. Her live performance oozes charisma, something fans were fortunate enough to witness recently as she seamlessly acted out support duties for Bon Iver on their latest North American tour.

2012 saw the release of La Hava’s debut full-length effort Is Your Love Big Enough? The release saw the burgeoning artist compared to the likes of Fiona Apple and Erykah Badu. What’s more, the release earned La Hava a nomination in the Mercury Prize awards.

La Hava will be performing two shows at Hyde Park and two at Parramatta, before heading to Brisbane and Melbourne.
