Literally a matter of minutes ago, Limp Bizkit confirmed that they will be heading to Australia on what will most likely be a headlining tour at some point this year.
Check out the full post below if you don’t believe us.
The news came via the band’s official Facebook page. That there’s little to no other information other than that concerns us. What we can devise from the brief post is that it will be sometime towards the end of the year, given that before they tour here they have to get through a US tour, performances at both Sonisphere and Download festival, followed by a UK and European tour before Russia, and then Australia before they head off to Asia.
The last time the band were here was Soundwave 2012, and they delivered an absolutely massive performance, ticking off all the crowd favourites and well-known hits from the group’s extensive career. The band took that opportunity to pay homage to their Aussie fan Jessica, who passed away during their nightmare performance at BDO some years back.
Since then and now, the Bizkit have been in and out of the news – being dropped from their label, only to join another one and release the odd album, not to mention plenty of internal disputes as well. However, the band seem eager to prove that they have still got it and will soon be bringing their nu-metal desires to our shores.
Keep those eyes peeled for more information.
