Chris Cornell is releasing a new live album titled Songbook. The album features live songs recorded throughout his first ever Solo tour and is due for release on November 21. Songbook is compiled of Cornell’s own tracks as well as a few covers, including Led Zeppelin’s Thank You and John Lennon’s Imagine.
Cornell has released a preview of one of the tracks from the album called Cleaning My Gun. Speaking about the track Cornell said:
It’s about a guy who loses the love of his life and decides to maybe take himself out,” Chris begins, as he introduces the track to the live audience. “Or, at least he’s thinking about it. He’s writing a song is what he’s doing.
