Dinosaur Jr. have released the first taster from their upcoming new album titled I Bet on Sky, which will be their tenth studio effort. The new track, named Watch the Corners, brings back more of the same sound that we can expect from the legendary stoner rocker’s 20 years of experience.
The new album follows up on 2009′s Farm, which saw the reunion of the original lineup continue their work more than 20 years after their formation and legendary dissolution. With the release of Beyond, in 2007, and Farm, the band gave a hearty Marshall-driven “F**K YOU!” answer to those inquiring ears.
Restoring the sound established by the opening hat-trick gambit of Dinosaur, You’re Living All Over Me, and Bug, those records continued the band’s march into rock greatness. Now the original lineup – J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph – are set to release I Bet on Sky on their label on 17th September through [PIAS].
