Frank Ocean has released a new track via his Tumblr page, which has been given the title of Blue Whale. This time around Odd Future’s more soulful and more crooner-like team member raps his lyrics over a simple beat and guitar melody. It’s not the normal tune we’d hear from Frank, but he still does the track some justice.
Ocean released his new album Channel Orange back in July, and it has easily become one of the top album’s of 2012. The LP also served as a platform for Ocean to reveal some of his deeper secrets, and shows the complex and layered themes to his music. Earl Sweatshirt, Tyler the Creator, Andre 3000, and John Mayer all provide a helping hand to round out an absolute cracker of a release.
