His last solo effort Let It Come Down was was released in 1998, and Iha says this new album shows his musical experiences in between: “It was important to me for the record to be multi-dimensional and complex. Being a part of the Smashing Pumpkins, and working with so many other bands and artists since my last album, gave me a fresh perspective on what music could be.”
Iha has also brought in several guests to help out on Look to the Sky, including the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O and Nick Zinner, Tegan and Sara’s Sara Quin, Fountains of Wayne’s Adam Schlesinger, and Television guitarist Tom Verlaine.
