Listen To King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard’s Ominous New Single ‘People-Vultures’

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have released yet another single from yet another album.

People-Vultures is the second track released from the band’s upcoming eighth album Nonagon Infinity, and yes, it is totally psychedelic. With lyrics referencing Mother Earth’s decline, Stu Mackenzie spews ramblings that could easily be recounts of acid induced nightmares over an anxious dynamic, played out between progressive rock guitars and angry clanging drums.

“A feathered doom encircles us from above and there’s a pulsing in our breast telling us there ain’t nothing any mere mortal can do when the sun retreats and blackness sets in.”

Nonagon Infinity is a 9 track album in which each song melts into the next and then, when we think we have finally reached the end, it loops straight back to the beginning. Ah the torment, but boy do we love it (and you have, pre-sale sold out shows in the US prove it).

But don’t worry homeland fans, sit tight for Aussie tour dates. Nonagon Infinity is due for release April 29th.
