M.I.A. revealed a brand new track via her Twitter last night. The track, named Come Walk With Me, is likely to appear on her upcoming fourth studio album, which should be released sometime later this year.
The video contains 2 minutes of the track and sounds unfinished, mixed with footage of some guys doing some amazing dancing. The new album is expected to be called Matangi, and as she describes it, should sound like a mixture of her previous releases.
Recently, she composed the music for the television series based on WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange called The World Tomorrow. M.I.A. has been a longtime supporter of Assange – releasing a mixtape in 2010 called Vicki Leekx.
