Australia’s own Mia Dyson has unveiled her latest rock and roll self-portrait, When We’re Older, premiering the track on US industry bible Billboard earlier today. The track is the first taste of Dyson’s forthcoming new album and carries on from where the ARIA nominated The Moment left off.
“The world seems to ignore people as they get older, but that doesn’t have to be a dark, sad thing,” said Dyson. “There could be freedom waiting for us. I’m looking down the road to celebrate growing old together, staying alive and being left alone to see the true beauty of the world and each other.”
Dyson’s new album is slated for release this June and was made with fidelity to her independent ideals, turning to her loyal fan base to join her in the release of the new record by launching a Pledge Music campaign, allowing fans to access the album first and go behind the scenes.
