Audio of the frantic ’000′ Emergency call made from Molly Meldrum’s Richmond home on the day he fell from a ladder in December last year has appeared online.
News.com.au reports in the dramatic clip (from 7′s Sunday Night show), a woman is heard telling the operator, “The patient is Ian ‘Molly’ Meldrum, he’s fallen off the roof.”
Asked if Meldrum was still breathing, she replies, “Unknown, unknown”.
Meldrum had been putting up Christmas decorations for a party on the 15th when he fell 3 metres from a ladder and suffered serious head injuries, as well as broken ribs and a punctured lung.
He was released from Hospital after just over a month of treatment. He was transferred out by his brother Brian, and is going through rehabilitation for post traumatic amnesia.
