From years of silence, to two singles into a new album, it’s all happening yet again for The Rolling Stones. Today saw the arrival of the group’s latest single One More Shot, following hot in the heels of their recent ditty Doom and Gloom.
A lot like the previous single, One More Shot sees the 1970’s sound of the Rolling Stones class rock paired with seamless modern production. A delicate balance that by all accounts seems to be working. A worthy feat at the hands of producer Don Was. We’ve got the track here for you to listen to, thanks to The Guardian, who also seemed to notice the similarities between this and Street Fighting Man, but hey it’s all good stuff.
BBC Radio 2 debuted the track this morning. Much like its older bro, One More Shot will eventually find its way onto the forthcoming full-length release from the band GRRR!
So far, it’s still looking good for an Australian tour announcement, so if you want to sample the new tunage live, as well as take in the amazing experience, prepare to take out a second mortgage, or sell a kidney to cover entry.
