Listen To Arctic Monkeys Cover Stephen Fretwell For Spotify

Written by Jackson Langford on September 13, 2018

Arctic Monkeys recently hooked up with Spotify as part of their ‘Spotify Singles’ program, where they performed a stunning rendition of an original song as well as a cover.

Recorded in New York City’s iconic Electric Lady Studios, Alex Turner and co. first performed a new rendition of Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino standout ‘Four Out of Five’, complete with electric piano, according to Consequence of Sound. You can watch footage of that performance here.

Following that, they broke out a cover of Stephen Fretwell’s ‘-‘, which appeared on his debut full-length album in 2004.

Arctic Monkeys have delivered fans a few covers recently. First, they covered The Strokes’ ‘Is This It’ in New York, and they followed that up by covering The White Stripes’ ‘The Union Forever’ in Detroit shortly after.

Listen to both performances below.
