Listen To Sia’s Soaring New Track ‘Eye Of The Needle’

Adelaide’s very own Sia, full name Sia Furler, has dropped a brand new track from her forthcoming sixth studio album 1000 Forms of Fear. The song, entitled Eye of the Needle, is another example of the powerful songwriting we’ve come to expect from the once retired singer-songwriter.

Eye of the Needle is the second single taken from 1000 Forms of Fear, following on from Chandelier. The track is driven by slow-marching percussion and some soaring vocals from Sia, amongst her typically catchy melodies.

In other Sia goodnes, the haunting music video for Chandelier is now available to stream as a one-shot take exclusive through The Guardian. The song has also been given the IDM remix treatment by electronic music juggernaut Four Tet (below).

Since retiring from the limelight in 2012, Sia has gone on to write a number hits for artists like Rihanna, Katy Perry and even Beyoncé, who called her a genius.

Now she’s found a way to stay hidden from the public eye while still performing her own work, revealing her “invisible pop star” concept with the launch of the album’s first single, Chandelier. 1000 Forms of Fear is due out in Australia on 4th July.
