You’ve most likely heard of Lollapalooza as one of the biggest and the best in music festivals. The Chicago-based music shindig, held between 6-8 August, will showcase big-name artists such as The Arcade Fire, The Strokes, Phoenix and yes, even Lady Gaga.
The xx, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and Frightened Rabbit will also join the spectacular line-up, which you can check out in all its glory here.
Grant Park, Chicago, will be teeming with music aficionados for the annual festival, which is the brainchild of Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell. Lollapalooza originally started as a travelling festival, a by-product of Jane’s Addiction’s farewell tour in 1991. It evolved into an annual destination festival in 2005.
Soundgarden, Green Day and Lady Gaga are the top three headline acts for the festival, which attracts tens of thousands of people over the three days.
