All five OG Spice Girls — Posh, Sporty, Scary, Ginger and Baby — are reportedly primed for a huge reunion in 2018, for the first time since Geri taught us all what heartbreak feels like when she exited the group back in 1998.
According to The Sun, the girl power fivesome are getting back together for a TV special and compilation album next year, after Mel C launched a campaign to reunite the former besties.
“The five of them have been locked in secret talks since the summer, and finally they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion,” a source — reported to be an aide working alongside the gals and their bossman Simon Fuller — told the gossip rag.
“As it stands, they will be working together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls,” the source dished.
“And getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion. The fact she is on board now is down to how much closer the five of them have become recently.”
Rumours of various fractions of the OG 90’s pop group reuniting have been swirling around for a while, but this is the first time that all five have been reported to be on board.
