Looks Like Guns N’ Roses Accidentally Announced Their ‘Appetite For Destruction’ Deluxe Edition

It looks like Guns N’ Roses have prematurely announced the release of their 30th anniversary ‘Appetite For Destruction’ box set.

Earlier in the week posters started appearing, both in Australia and around the world, featuring the band’s original lineup. The posters directed fans to a website with a countdown and while that countdown is still going, we already have the details.

As GNR Central report, an unboxing video was uploaded to YouTube early and while it’s since been pulled, the details have already been captured.

The box set, coming a year after the actual 30th anniversary of the record, contains 73 tracks including 49 that are unreleased. It also includes 2 LPs featuring a remastered version of the album plus vinyl of the Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide EP and an EP containing B-sides from that time.

The unreleased recordings come from the 1986 Sound City sessions plus there’s a further two tracks produced by Mike Clink.

For the massive fans, there’s a super deluxe version that includes a 96-page handbook including photos from Axl Rose’s own archive.

While this will come as welcome news to most fans, there were some theorising that the mysterious posters were teasing a reunion with the band’s original lineup.

It seems like that’s not going to happen but their current lineup have tour dates plotted right up until the end of July.

Judging by the countdown, the box set will officially be announced tomorrow.

UPDATE: Guns N’ Roses have announced their Appetite For Destruction: Locked N’ Loaded Edition box set will be released on 29th June. The band have also released a recording of the song ‘Shadow Of Your Love’, which was recorded in December 1986. Stream it below.
