Acclaimed Melbourne duo Luluc – Zoë Randell and Steve Hassett – announce a string of Australian tour dates following their return from a tour of the US and Canada. The tour is to celebrate Luluc’s homecoming and will be their final headlining tour before relocating to the US in 2010.
Luluc’s album Dear Hamlyn was released to widespread acclaim last year and has won the duo a place in the hearts of music fans and critics alike.
Luluc were one of only a handful of international artists to play the highly prestigious Calgary Folk Music Festival earlier this year, which saw them sharing the stage with acts such as Iron and Wine, Loreena McKennit, and Jolie Holland.
The past few months have seen the duo base themselves in New York and Los Angeles, becoming renowned for their hauntingly beautiful live show, with the exquisite harmony of Zoe’s quietly powerful alto and Steve’s perfect accompaniment. Luluc’s song ‘I Found You’ was recently chosen for inclusion in the soundtrack of ABC television series East of Everything.
