After lighting up audiences throughout Europe and North America, Mac DeMarco has put Australian stages squarely in his sights for the first-time ever. Already announced as part of the Meredith Music Festival madness, DeMarco has now announced sideshow plans which will see him tour nationally in December.
Known for his era-spanning take in indie rock, which meanders between 1960s garage rock to ’80s romanticism all tied together in a nice little rockabilly bow. Cutting his teeth up front of Makeout Videotape, DeMarco has built a strong relationship with his fan base, a connection made stronger by the release of not just Rock n Roll Night Club but his latest effort Mac DeMarco 2.
His current effort is testament to his multiple talents, using the record as a shining example of his abilities as a writer, producer and performer. There are no limits to his mischievous allure, either, something Aussie fans are sure to discover on the below evenings.
