Music students at Tulsa Oklahoma’s Booker T. Washington High School couldn’t believe their luck last week when Machine Head‘s singer guitarist Rob Flynn and bassist Adam Duce dropped in to pay the class a visit. The duo were invited by one of the school’s music teachers, who is friends with Duce, at the request of one of his students. However, Flynn turning up, the frontman being notoriously reclusive about public appearances, was beyond the student’s wildest dreams, with the band speaking about getting started as well as taking some questions from the students.
One student filmed the whole thing on YouTube, which you can watch below.
We also spoke to Duce a few years back about how hard it was when they were starting out, which you can watch here.
Machinehead will be in Australia later this week for the 2012 Soundwave Festival.
