Makers Of ‘Glastonbury: The Movie’ – Uncover Never Before Seen Footage Of The Lemonheads

Producers behind the soon-to-be-released festival doco Glastonbury: The Movie have found countless amounts of never-before-seen footage from the iconic UK festival, all of which are to be included in the rehashed roots to branches re-imagining of the 1996 film made about the much-loved event.

Glastonbury is about as internationally recognised as a festival can be, and the documentary, set to be released June 29, will discuss all the key milestones for the event. As Robin Mahoney, the brain behind the camera, has stated: “We found a load of fantastic unseen material amongst the rushes – new performances, funny little moments – and this new version has blended the best of that in. We also used a top sound engineer to re-master all the music from the original live recordings and produced a spanking new Dolby cinema mix. The original was a very rewarding film to make, but this takes it to another level.”

So by the sounds of things, the film might be almost as entertaining as actually being at the festival, almost. So in anticipation of the release, we have been spoiled with some never-before-seen footage of The Lemonheads performing Kitchen. Take a peak below! Also to be included in the movie are the likes of Chuck Prophet, The Verve, Spiritualized, and from what we can see, stacks more.

Also, below that clip is a clip of Spiriutalized performing at the festival; fun fact: the band spent their entire performance fee on fireworks!
