Mariah Carey Has Rescheduled Her 2018 Australian Tour

Mariah Carey has announced that she is postponing her 2018 Australian tour, today revealing new tour dates in October.

“We are now planning a much bigger tour in 2018,” says Carey in a statement.

“Because of this we are moving the Australia/NZ dates a few months to October. I’ll be kicking off my tour with you then and look forward to seeing you all! Until then, sending love and best wishes for a wonderful new year!”

Carey’s Aussie tour, which was originally scheduled to occur in February as part of her ‘#1s Tour’, will now hit Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in October, with Perth losing its previously announced show and both Sydney and Melbourne picking up new venues.

Carey’s Australian tour promoters MJR Presents say the rescheduling is “due to a necessary realignment of her international engagements”.

Promoters say tickets for the new shows will be issued to ticket-holders in the coming weeks, while tickets to the Brisbane show will remain valid for the new date. Ticket-holders who cannot attend the new shows will be offered refunds.

New tickets for the rescheduled shows will go on sale in February. Details below.
