Marilyn Manson’s Intense David Bowie Cover Now Has A Very NSFW Video

ICYMI: Marilyn Manson recently teamed up with outlaw country rocker Shooter Jennings for a cover of Cat People, David Bowie’s 1982 collaboration with Giorgio Moroder.

And now, the intense, brooding rendition has been given the visual treatment, with a grainy, animated video styled to look like an old-school video game.

Except it’s a lot more NSFW than an old school video game, unfolding a dark tale filled with sex, arson and pretty much the apocalypse.

Jennings and Manson both appear in the clip in creepy cartoon form.

“I love this song, Manson’s vocals, and Valenberg’s pixel art,” Jennings said of the vid, which was directed by Valenberg and Blake Judd (via Loudwire). “It’s like a Super Nintendo version of a John Carpenter film.”

Meanwhile, Manson recently announced plans to release a brand new album called SAY10 next year on Valentine’s Day amid being critically trashed for his mess of a live show and hurling snot at fans.
