Mark Hoppus Has Been In The Studio With All Time Low And There’s Video To Prove It

Mark Hoppus has been hanging out with All Time Low in the recording studio and we’ve got the god damn proof.

The bass third of Blink-182 guests on a track on the Baltimore pop punks’ forthcoming album, Future Hearts, and the band has just uploaded footage of their in-session shenanigans to their official Facebook page.

The tune, a heartfelt ballad dubbed Tidal Waves, sees Hoppus (who seems to be sporting a bit of a There’s Something About Mary ‘do) handling vocal duties during a slow-burning second verse before frontman Alex Gaskarth explodes into a soaring chorus.

The behind-the-scenes clip shows the fellas goofing around in the recording room with a dog (good thing Tom DeLonge wasn’t around) and chatting about the song itself.

“I fucking hate modulation!” Hoppus jokes while pointing at the camera, referring to songs that have key changes. “It’s the poor man’s bridge.”

All Time Low were in Australia earlier this year for Soundwave 2015, where they pulled off an epic save after a wild storm trashed the stage during the Sydney event. They release Future Hearts this Friday, 3rd April.
