Meet The New Aussie Travel Company Offering Sweet-Ass Tour Packages To Some Of The World’s Biggest Music Festivals

We all know ‘Straya is packing some pretty A+ music festivals, but Splendour and Beyond The Valley are like schooners compared to the yard glasses that are some of the biggest music festivals in the world, which is one of the reasons why many penny-pinching punters splash out every year to jet off OS and experience the way the other half raves.

And if you’re thinking of becoming one of those punters, then here’s some good news: there’s a brand new boutique travel company that’s just popped up to help you crank your international music festival experience to 11.

Melbourne-based boutique Sweat Tours launched in 2016, and they’ve just unveiled a fistful of international tour packages tailored specifically to suit Aussie music fans.

To begin with, they’re offering tour bundles for three USA festivals in 2017 – Governors Ball, Electric Daisy Carnival and Ultra Music Festival (although that one’s sold out already), and the contents of each of their experiential goodie bags is pretty damn froth-worthy.

“With accommodation, private transfers, meals, drinks, VIP experiences, sightseeing led by local tour guides and much more included in each carefully tailored package, Sweat have gone above and beyond to curate a once-in-a-lifetime experience for their thrillseeking punters,” reads a statement from the company. “Each tour is meticulously customised to showcase the best of each city, while attending the hottest festivals around the globe in serious style.”

Each package is packing a pretty hefty price tag, but when you crunch the numbers it actually seems like pretty damn good value. Take the package for Governor’s Ball — a festival that attracts almost six times the crowd of Splendour In The Grass — for instance:

So if you’ve got a spare $3K lying around (plus money for, you know, airfares), then what better way to blow it than by embarking on a pimped-out musical Contiki with a bunch of like-minded strangers?
