Metric Prowl The Streets Of Mexico City For New ‘Lost Kitten’ Video

Written by Sarah Bella on December 6, 2013

Canadian indie kids Metric may have dropped their latest album Synthetica over a year ago, but they’ve today revealed a video for track Lost Kitten, just in time to accompany the release of a new instrumental album, Synthetica Reflections.

The video stars Canadian dancer and actor Sheldon McIntosh as said kitten on search of his house mother, but the streets of Mexico City are just as captivating a character, no mean feat considering the dance skills on display in this 4-minute effort from director Sammy Rawal.

The formidable dance rockers are heading back to Australia for a headlining tour that kicks off next Monday in Melbourne, to be joined by Sydney’s own Glass Towers, although the outfit this week cancelled their second Perth show in as many years, citing unforeseen scheduling issues.

They have, however, just dropped their own Synthetica app that allows you to remix the songs from the album, so Western Australian fans may have to settle for making their own Metric tunes.
