Making his way to our shores for the first time, legendary MC MF Doom has just announced supports for his upcoming shows in the form of the UK’s DJ MK and our very own Simplex. Like we needed anymore incentive to go to the show.
DJ MK, who has worked with the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Roots Manuva, Gorillaz and Skinnyman amongst others, is one of the UK’s leading hip hop DJs. A club favourite over the past ten years, he has played all over the world from London’s own subterranean Fabric to The Apartment in Dubai, as well as as hosting his own radio show on Kiss FM in London and even judging the DMC UK and World Final DJ Competetion between 96-04.
Simplex is a highly respected producer/MC from Adelaide. Working with some of the biggest names in Australian hip hop, such as Hilltop Hoods Drapht, Reason, and Cross Bred Mongrels, his soon to be released debut album, set for release on Obese Records features guests including Candice Monique (from M-Phazes “Goodbye Gravity”), Delta and more.
This is sure to be one of the best hip hop shows to reach us this year so don’t miss out.
